Default Skunk Works 2nd Gen Cat Hulls... 5 Ready

Hello to all out there and happy new year!

My hands are spent from sanding and my lungs are clogged with paint fumes I actually love it.

For those who do not know, this batch of hulls was a challenge. The construction superior, the gel coat finish...inferior. I have taken a lot of hours to make this batch right and ready for custom paint. I have 5 ready for sale on a first come first serve basis as I have cleared all from the initial waiting list.

Each hull has been sanded down and painted in multiple coats of white primer. They are done right and 120% ready for your finish and build.

Each hull is $135 SHIPPED! (paypal) to the lower 48 states via UPS ground with tracking number. Again, there are 5 ready to go, 3 are packed and pic of 2 additional are on this post.

These will not last at this price. To be fair, I will take the fist 5 PMs to claim this hull offer. I have 2 more left to work on after this, but those will take time to complete.

More info on the hulls and available at this link.

    https://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...ad.php?t=11861

Images of the 2 hulls in the shop are attached.

Many thanks to everyone out there for the continued support! I am working diligently to put this batch of hulls in the past and move on with the builder. It is a work in progress.

    Have a good one!

I'm in the market for a new Cat hull, not running riggers anymore and that hull looks impressive. Was thinking about the MM cat hull, which would be a good place to start, but how would a speedmaster strut for a single drive mount on this hull? Would the strut brackets mount on the transom block in the middle or under it? Any info would be great.

I planned on using a setup like the Toysport Jolly cat has. I believe they can be found.

    Hello All,

Thank you for the positive feedback on the hulls, I greatly appreciate it! Trying like heck to make these right and ready for you the builder.

Quick update. I have 3 accounted for / sold. 2 left for this sale.

Thanks again and more updates to follow.

It seems high but an XL fits in there and the top clears it.

Not tottaly sure but you'd be better off with the proboat IMHO. UL-1 is a rpm motor with a hull that size you need to swing a decent size prop.

More hulls will be coming for certain. They will be a bit more $ than the ones from this first batch. Working out the details and the issue from the first go round with my builder.....we are on good terms....they just messed up.

Price on these initial hulls are set lower because they are not absolutely perfect, at least in my eyes and I have severe OCD when it comes to these type of things (ask my wife). Customers were not expecting the hull in primer either.

    We will get through it.

Will have an update to the post on availability on Monday.

    Many thanks,

Mine came today as well. Plenty of room for 8S and a 1521. Great deal on a nice hull.
