    Thumbs up My new SV27 46.3 mph

    Just put a new Ammo 2300 in my SV got her up to 46.3 mph it was awsome.

    Grim Racer 40X52/3
    tabs even
    strut 1 deg pos
    Rudder kicked back 2 deg
    COG 7.5
    Ammo 2300
    Stock esc
    Scuffed bottom Red Scotch Brite

    Your rudder needs to be tucked forwards, not backwards.

    I tried it both ways and it handled better kicked back a little?

    You sure its staight?
    Plenty of "best results" with the rudder tucked forwards.
    Never heard of anyone having any luck running it outwards

    It is only 2 degrees. Depends on how the hull is running. Outward kick can help keep it planted in the turns. Too much thogh and it will create too much lift.

    Hull looked slightly loose on water. Move COG slightly more forward and/or bend trim tabs down slightly more.

    My stock SV27 got up to 62,7 mph on 8s

    It did not last long, but great fun!
