    Default Turnigy Monster 2000 help

While I have been building my 1/8 Pro Boat I have been working on a friends boat that will be running in the district. It is a Dumas Circus Circus 1/8 wood kit, with my HWD. the KB motor, a Turinegy Monster 2000 esc on 8S2P Turinegy cells.
I just tried out the ESC and I can not get it to reverse. I reversed the servo in the transmitter in throttle. position to reverse. Nothing happened. I had done the initial start up in reverse. I tried to shut off and re calibrated it nothing changed. I still comes on when you break it.
Pictures of the boat and parts thought you all would like to see.

I'm trying to sort the sequence out here Randy. Your trying to reverse the throttle setting on the ESC? Instead of just switching 2 motor wires? That speedo does not have a reverse setting if you are seeking a forward and reverse setting like some do. I know I'm not getting it to really be of any help.

No, not the diredtion of the motor. The direction of the throttle, from full on to full break it works correctly.
I want it to go from netural to full on normal. I think I need a Pisitx to start off with after wright ing this.

How do you keep it watertight with the strut on the inside? any close up pictures, i had assumed a fixed strut attached to the bottom, but that looks like a regular adjustable strut just attached to the inside of the transom rather than the outside.

    Hi Randy,

I am interested in this motor also. May I know the KV of this motor??? It looks similar to the one Littlescreamers are selling.

    I am running a NEU 2215 2Y motor with 750kv wif a Octura X455 prop and 10S lipo.

What would you suggest the prop size to go with this motor?

Yes I am a little screamer dealer. This motor has 650Kv I have two in stock, about ready to test in a 1/8 Pro Boat.

thread here seems to be off topic of OP, but I didn't want to start another thread on this ESC.

Does anybody know if it can be programmed with the TX? I have an order on programming card, but out of stock...

Anybody have a digital set of instructions or know what the default settings are?

    thanks

Jesse, Yes, but you do need a Pistix. I will hunt and see if I have the instructions and will email them to you, if you wish

That would be great Douggie, thanks. geohead73@hotmail.com

I was told by Jason that my Spektrum 2.0 should be able to handle the pistix problem... he said he got his to overcome the issue.

You rock. take your time, the ESC isn't even here yet - main reason was to see if I needed to do any programming or if it was set to what I will be using. I appreciate the effort!
