Look for the graupner scale z-drive they are fairly affordable and would fit the size boat you want 25-40" They come in to sizes if I am not mistaken. They wont be crazy fast, you will lose performance with any geared drive especially the smaller you go.

Haha, show me the same boat viewed from the side ?
How deep is the prop below the lowest point of the transom ?

EDIT : found the "for sale thread" in which this boat was sold.
    Outboard is placed wrong.
That's why it stays submerged :-)
So in fact you are a bit right :-)

Hi Gerwin, I do not have another picture and have no idea how
far the prop is below the transom. I have unsubscribed from this
thread as I was just trying to help Corey but he really does not
want any advice and does not know what he wants to build.
Love your beatiful cats but can't afford them right now. Regards

Wow!!! Wait a minute Norman... As I said I didn't want to start anything, I'm sorry if the drive sits in the water differently than a full size boat. That is why i'm asking the questions that I am. I appreciate your advice and the advice of others and don't want to start anything here, as I have no ground or experience to stand on!!!

Jeff, those drives are exactly what i'm looking for in the look I would like to go after.

Furthermore, i'm looking to have someone build a stepped hull Fountain with "Jeff's" style drives for around a $1000.00, can this be done???? I know what I want and have stated that all along. I want a realistic looking Fountain!!! Thats all

I'm trying to get into the hobby, as a kid I raced cars like the team associated rc 10 for quite a few years. I would like to get back into the hobbie and learn something about boats.

Again i'm sorry if I started something here

With those specific drives? Probably not.

With something cheaper, definitely. You wanted twins, right?

This would be less expensive to get running:

    With one of these:

    (could withstand brushless power)

    Or:

(Cheaper. Won't take too much power.)

Hi Corey, No you didn't start anything. Was just expressing an opinion. Regards
