they do make a 42mm 3 blade prop but it is for a 4mm shaft, I thought it was for a 3/16..

Yes I have tried the S220 on my SV and it worked good, made a big rooster tail, but I prefer a CF45 over it.. although the runtimes are better..
    my fave is a CF48

Your strut needs some down angle and or your rudder needs adjusting. Whats the adjustment on them including you trim plates? Your rooster tail is too big if thats on plane and WOT full speed.

Hey what's up, I can't wait to see your SV scream with that motor. Looking forward to hearing how your testing goes. It's suppose to be nice Monday and Tuesday. For some reason hotmail won't let me email you the video I took for you. I may try sending from a different account. I will try this weekend if I remember. I'm at work right now. I also got my radar gun in the mail yesterday. Interested to see how it works with the boats.

    Nice!
I don't think my motor temps have ever gotten over 120* and that was on the hottest day this summer.. but most of the time I see 100-105*, and cold waters only about 90*
and this is with the stock cooling setup!
I opened up the rudder pickup with a point file just a bit more...

    Wink New 5.5mm connectors

Well I switched every thing over to 5.5mm connectors today I thought I was never going to put my soldering pencil down all day I hope it will pay of. The last time I ran my boat the Deans plugs got hot and melted the shrink wrap with my new Ammo motor this should help

There will be a big increase in power with your new 5.5mm bullets.
    Alot less resistance!
    Alot less heat!

Plus, i think they look better then deans.

You will love the 5.5mm connectors, they flow more current than deans..
also you do not need that series wire.. just connect battery neg to pos and esc neg and pos..
this way you can run 2s, 4s, 6s, 8s, etc..

Leads might not be long enough on the batteries to do that.

you might have to solder up a small wire with a 5.5mm female on one end and a male on the other.

Great stuff, I am thinking I should make the jump to 5.5mm as well. I never was crazy about the deans.

    leads???
more than enough length. I run all my boats, cars, and planes this way..
more connectors could mean more resistance
