Here is a better comparison of the 1200kv Fiegao and the 1200kv KB45 in the same supercat hull on 24 cells.

    Fiegao 14XL

KB45 10XL in the blue hull, not dialed in yet.

The KB looked to be a bit quicker. It's dialed in real nice in the first clip. I was looking real hard at the M1-S today. 27x9 with twin sv systems on 4s...Hmmmmmm

The fiegao was running 40 dialed in. I am thinking the KB45 will run mid forties when i get it dialed in on NiMH's.

That sounds like a good hull for the twin sv's. It should be a low flying rocket.

I ran all of the KB45 motors and props through FeCalc and discovered that the 10XL and 11XL are the best performing motors when keeping the max amps below 100. They liked the 8S lipos. The 10XL is fastest on a small prop but the 11XL is better because it runs on a bigger prop for the larger hulls. They were both around 50mph.

If I buy another one it will be an 11XL on 8S in a large hull for the best all around performance.

My Jolly cat is the biggest FE boat I will own for a long time. If I want to go big I can only aford to burn fuel. I am turning my attention to smaller boats and twins.

When I say larger hull, I am thinking anything 32 inches and above for the heavier KB45 motor.
