Cool 1/8th Scale hydros at HOTMBC

We had two 1/8th scale hydros running at the club meet today. One was the 2006 National Champion - the SloMo IV. It was racing against the TomyAnn, both 1950s vintage shovel nose Unlimited Hydros. Running 10S packs and 2280 motors swinging x457 props, these boats put on quite a show!

That 1/8th Scale Slo-Mo was the first FE built by the legendary Roger Newton and raced in the Michigan Cup in 2005. Some of you old timers may remember it! It's finally back racing. What a great running classic hydro!

Great pictures. The top one is suitable for framing.

    Thanks Jay
