As far as I know the 1.03 firmware still has the timing values wrong but I would just load it just to see if it calibrates correctly. If it does maybe try to reinstall 1.04 and calibrate it again. I personally think the controller has a problem with the radio board though.

    Hi Herve,

How far off WOT is the ESC once armed (guess)?

And is there an information page regarding the timing values on the 1.03 firmware?

Ok so im still having the same problem. My trim is at 0, my sub trim is at 0, and the F/B is set to 150% and the led still dosnt go solid at full throtle. i tried the 1.03 software with these same settings and it doesn't work either. i have also tried to change the throtle curve, it is set at 90 for 100% and this doesn't work either.

Try calibrating the system with the F/B set around 80 - 90%

The speed controller should see this as WOT even though the radio does not during the hold full throttle step during the ESC calibration.

Once calibrated, go WOT and as the LED blinks try turning your F/B travel up to 150%.

You may find this will fix your problem, the radio system may simply have a minor inconsistency within its opertaing system with CC software.

    Worth a try

ok, so i calabrate esc at 80% F/B and Then put it back up to 150% and the led still doesn't go solid. i then tried it at 70% and then put it back up 150% and still no solid led. i then clabrated at 150% F/B just to see if i can get an idea on how close it is to being solid, and i think that its very close but i am compparing it to when i put the brake on and were the led goes from blinking to solid.

Could try positioning the trim B around 16 or so to give the throttle a longer spektrum of travel.

Other then that I honestly do not know why you are having so much trouble recieving full throttle.

    Keep trying

For what it is worth, on my Futaba 3PM Fasst I have to set the EPA ( End Point Adjustment) to 120% with Hydra 120 to get full throttle and a solid LED.
The manual says to use 100% but the LED will still blink at that setting.
Just another weird Castle feature !!!!

    Another Brainfart,

Sure that the ESC is not in reverse and the reversing limit is set to 75% ?

Can you get full throttle reverse at the moment ?

    hello

reverse is what wonders me, default value is 25% but set up if OFF

not logical to register reverse end point during calibration with unactivate feature .....

just for my understanding jimmy, what is WOT ??

wot, is full throttle and i get a solid led when i go in reverse. but i have the esc set up with no reverse one other thing i tried is to reverse the switch for the throttle but it wont let me even calabrate with it in the reverse setting. i do have a spare radio sitting around i am going to try with it to see if its the radio or the esc. cacofonix i think that you said that you tried with a diffrent radio, and it didnt work or am i wrong on this.
    Dustin

i have tried calabrating the esc with my end point adj. from 70% to 150% and nothing changes.

ok folks, i found problem !!!

i recalibrate esc after changing radio EPA to 80% ...just to check

    and ....no change

BUT !!! , since the beginning, i made all tests by unplugging motor after calibration

and this time , i try full throttle WITH motor plugged .........

and and and : LED IS FULL ....... unbelievable, esc behaviour is not same with or without motor plugged.

well that was it. recalabrated esc, left motor plugged in and tried full throttle and had solid red led. im with you cacofonix it doesn't make any sense that the motor would have to be plugged in. but it worked. but i thought that i read a post from joe that you should unplug the motor when you check for full throttle. maybe thats just for saftey.

also want to say thanks to everybody for there help. its nice to now that people are here to help when you need it.
