    Thanks peter,

Just in the process of changing out the wood stringers in the DF 33 to G10 and mounting the motor up front like your 41.

I'll post some pics up as soon as they arrive.

On your first question I do not do gear boxes infact I am getting out of doing custom jobs period cause they are such a huge time consumer , on the pcb I can look at what you need

    Hey Peter,

Does your mill accept a collet? What rpm are you running the cutter at? Two flute?

A few questions first my friend

    - What schulze 40/160 do you have old style or new
    - what 2215 do you have old style or new
    - if you don't know send me pictures of both....... titanis@telus.net
    - standard large frame with either esc plate or cooling tube holders is $125.00US

We have a small club where we meet at the nitro guys pond and terrorize them....LOL , I live a hop , skip , and jump from Edmonton , Alberta ( 35 minutes away ) we run at a local water reservoir

Here are pics of a fellows 2215 sniper setup I just helped out about 8 weeks ago machining motor & esc setup and also the servo plate . I can't help but notice what a clean and beautiful job he did setting this up , always a pleasure to see

    Hi Peter,

I have a lilian conventional mill with the acu-rite system. Are you familiar with it? Its very easy to use.
The reason i asked about the, collet is that it seems it would cut with alot more rigitity, and you could use a much quicker feedrate. Also, does it have a coolent pump. I know when machining alum the cutter tends to "bung up". especially with a four flute.
Please don't feel as if im trying to tell you how to machine (your mounts look great) This is just some things i know after 18+ years as a tool maker.
    Keep up the good work.

    Steve.

No fluid but the aluminum shavings are evacuated by a vacuum system , usually every 2 - 3 passes I give the tool path a squirt of cutting oil , Don't worry about the questions I am still a bit of a greenhorn with the CNC system and appreciate any input especialy from a seasoned machinest

Thanks for the nice comments on the mounts
