    Looks like the flex cable came loose from the prop shaft.
    This causing it to vibrate and shake very violently which caused it to bend and then destroy your stuffing tube.

    Sucks, it does.


    Repair it and get back out there dude!

    Cool

    If there was more than a 1" gap of unsupported cable in front of the strut, no wonder the cable wraped up. Run brass tubing to or into the front of the strut to give the cable full support, and say goodbye to these types of failures. The more power/bigger prop you use, the easier it is for the cable to whip like that.
