This is sad...But one question comes to mind. Is it just the insurance company's fault? Why couldn't the hospital or the doctors treat some of these people pro bono? They treat people in third world countries at no cost. When a single person or small group of people, thru action or inaction, causes the death of another, they can be charged with with manslaughter in many states. Why doesn't it apply to corporations?
