    Default trim tabs ?

    hi after running 2 s lipos and a balanced and sharpend prop an x-645? my boat from a dead stop will jump out of the water like a wet cat, and filp?????? the power is unreal !! i have to run a lap or two at half throttle, and then the boat is flying , its stock motor and esc. is any one using TRIM TABS and will this help my boat keep her nose down??????? thks

    batts are forward and have 9 ounce of weight in front of the motor?

    Your are taking about a bj26 stock with an x645 and 2s lipos? That is exactly what I want to do, got everything but the prop. Any idea on the temps of the motor and ESC, got to be warm.

    the x645 is alot I think x642 or pranther 220

    I would angle the strut down 1 or 2 degrees.

    ok i will try to lower the strut :) thks and the temps are not bad running around 131 f at the motor, the esc 109 f and the batts around 113 to 121 f ::) thats after about 5 min of running . and yes i said bj:) mine is a beast, it flipped twice yesterday from take offs :)

    Look at this diagram...The high lift will make the bow ride lower.

    Try it at 1 to 2 degrees at first.

    ok sounds good :) hard to belive that there is so much power comming from that lil motor:)
