    Default BJ26 speeds...

With 2 2S lipos, 5000mah, sharpened and balanced 642, all stock hardware. What kinda speeds does it run? High 30s- low 40s?
Just wondering if anyone is running this set up.
Im asking this after I could answer it myself. I got a GPS 3 days after I swapped the motor and esc into a 32" cat with the 642 prop. Ive been working on the trim and cog (of the 32") and so far my best is 37.9 mph. I was thinking I remember reading somewhere that stock BJ26, lipos, 642 was in the low 40s...

I was using the stock outdrive before and the fastest speed i got on 4s was 40.9Mph

    Angled/shortened/sharpened turnfins, S/B/D X642.

The modifications to the turnfins gave me 2Mph so might be worth trying.

Cool, so 40 was possible. Like I mentioned, Im just looking for a baseline for what it would do. Im running the motor/esc in a different hull. I know that factors such as being a different hull design, length, etc. are going to change speeds, but if I can get this hull to match the speeds of the BJ, Im going to have one killer cat. This thing corners like its on rails. And so far at my 37.7 mph, it is very stable...
