Awesome Sir! :thumbup1:
I had the opportunity to check out one of these hulls recently and was very impressed with the quality and finish. If I ever get the urge to build a hydro, this would be the one.
Thanks Joel. The FE30 derives its pedigree from the world-class line of big gas racers at Insane Boats - Jeff is a perfectionist and the lessons learned from his big boats filters down to the FE models. At the just-run FE Nationals, an FE30 took class First Places in both P-Ltd Sport Hydro AND P-Sport Hydro :thumbup1:
Just had to build this hotrod for myself :thumbup1:

Tony, as usual, what a wonderful build! Looks awesome!:rockon2: Love that water outlet!:buttrock: Man, that boat handles like a Ferrari.
That hull looks fast and stable. I have seen a lot of very loose boats in this class. Half do not finish heat.
It's been said that, theoretically at least, ride-pad hulls don't do well in the rough. Attachment 100627
My other JC30 (current P-Ltd Mono NAMBA SAW record holder) out for a stroll in "mild" chop

Dave wants to race P-Ltd. with the option of changing motors to go P-Sport. Narrowed the T-180 to allow 4S2P batteries to fit beside the ESC. A .150 cable with teflon is installed with the option of pulling out the teflon and putting in a .187 cable I supplied trimmed to fit to "convert" to the P-Sport configuration with a bigger motor..

Motor mount, quickchange servo mount, solid waterline to clear servo mechanism, matching blue servo rod
Attachment 104265
ESC platform keeps ESC off bottom in case of slosh
Attachment 104267
Sharp blue hull. Dave special-ordered early-style cowl instead of later model turbine cowl.

To replace his last one that "got away", Dave had me build this gorgeous ballistic missle. A TP Power motor, T-120, and Dinogy 65C/130C 2S 5000's and considerable attention to detail including carbon/kevlar inlays this should be entirely capable of low-earth orbit :thumbup1:

Looks good Tony!
What size motor and kv?
Any inside pics? How much harder is it working on the smaller hulls?
Looks good tony
Motor : TP POWER 2935 6Y 2270KV
It seems that the small hulls take much longer ; this one took 3 weeks (but it was worth the extra time - I'm really proud of this build:thumbup1:)
Thanks Mike !
That looks sweet Tony.
You do great work Tony. I hope Jeff hasnt shipped my hull already so you can get mine ready for me.
Steve's crossing over to the "sparky" side. His MM V2 should be a great start.
TP Power 4050 3Y 2220KV ; T-180 ; 4S2P ; Spd hardware. I kept the layout super sanitary :thumbup1:
(Steve'll add his own graphics)

guess ur gonna have to build my mean machine for me
Steve's next entry into the "sparky" side : A P-Ltd Sport FE30. This green on black hull is so strikingly bright that Steve'll need sunglasses just to look at it (pictures don't do it justice) - I think there's Kryptonite in the gelcoat
Attachment 111842Attachment 111843
I configured the layout to allow a single 4S 5000 in front of the ESC or 2 X 2S 5000's in series

Graphics will be added soon

I like how you put flotation in every possible spot. Must come from experience. :bash:
