Are you trying to keep with stock stuff?
Not necessarily. I may have bit off more then I can chew. Probably be a lot cheaper to just buy one RTR rather then all of the components and hardware

Mmm, do you have a servo and Rx? Does the hull have the rubber boot for the steering rod? These are of course new items but not too pricey.
I do have a stock ESC/motor for the Geico. I am not sure what else I may have around but I can look on the weekend when I’m home.

Hi Adam, check this seller, rc4u77 on eBay . .he gets boats that are missing some parts, non working parts or something else is damaged and sometimes you can get a real deal. The seller sold a complete MG29V3 s few weeks ago for under $100 . . . .everything was good including electronics but the hull had severe damage. So whoever won that bid got a deal on all the electronics, hardware, TX/RX and it came with original box and manual. If I remember correctly it was new but the hull was somehow damaged. . .so in your case it would have been perfect as you already have a hull. You should check MG29 V3 on eBay and see if he's got one with similar conditions. He'll sometimes have more than one of the same boat on auction. I'm just saying, you might get lucky. . .it doesn't hurt to check every now and then
