Have you run it yet? That's just really cool.
DAM! I've been wanting to do something like that. Looks like the motors look pretty scale with the hull, nice job!
What motor/esc/battery setup are you running? Can you post some pictures of the interior?
Have you bat-tub'ed it yet....the CG should be very interesting!
Any idea what it might run on the water?
Should be cool!
Are you set up with counter-rotating outboards? Are those the TFL units from HobbyKing?
I would have liked to build one that would go 40'ish
or is this the unit you are using?

Pics of inside electronics.
This is so cool !
Was it difficult feeding the wires through the double hull?
That is the tightest x cat model I ever done saw! Glad to have seen in person!, steering is rock solid!
Part of me wants to see a running video cause it will be awesome.
Part of me doesn't want to see one, because I'm going to want one for sure.
I'm curious about the props, what size if the propshaft? 3/16"? Kintec and OSE have nice CNC units you could try.
What is the connection at the motor shaft and cable? Is it a collet or grub screw type linkage?
I believe it's a 4mm shaft.
Yes motor is coupled to shaft with a collet that has 2 set screws on the cable and the engine shaft, have yet to have one come loose or spin.
Stock props are marginal at best, would be better with some aluminum or copper ones in same size if I could find them.
Props are 30mm 1.4 anyone got a couple:)
So it's something similar to this (not the right size, just for conversation)

I know I tore up the tip of the cable on my son's Shockwave with the straight coupler going from 2s to 3s with a 3000kv motor. Switched to the collet style after that and haven't had any issues. Do you think there is room in the assebly to use a collet?

Maybe this is the answer for the 4mm prop shaft? would allow you to run 3/16" bore props:

Going from the 4mm to 3/16 shaft is no biggy but finding 30mm 1.4 props has been the challenge.
Part of me doesn't want to see it run. I don't want to shatter the vision of it running in my head.
