Servo mounting questions

I’m in the middle of mounting my electronics on my Pursuit.

Is the recommended servo mounting method okay? Seems a little crude (servo case recessed in mount with 2 zip ties). With this method, the rudder is steering fine but the servo is rotating ever so slightly. I was about to use 3M tape and zip ties but the thickness of the tape would eat into the servo recess allotment. Would shoe goo, zip ties, along with recess do okay?

Secondly, is the Z bend okay to use? Just seems like slop would develop in the servo arm over time. I’m trying to remember from my car days but I think Dynamite sells servo linkage hardware to eliminate the Z-bend.

Am I overthinking things?
