V1 MG running 1500KV (longer can/ 1st gen motor) will it handle 6s?

Bone stock MG V1 yes a 45amp speed controller, 1500KV (74mm length) 6 pole motor, with the Prather S220 prop.

If I upgrade the esc (120-180amp+) would the original motor suffice and be able to handle the extra power of lets say 6S.

**no pads have not been blueprinted/sanded smooth, no I don't have the offset rudder as in the V3 or kinetics kit.**

Thank you for all your help, I read thru the race prep MG thread all 11 pages and just seem to not find my answer there, as well as tried to browse around more on here to no avail...

Any help to put this to rest would be much appreciated.
