Grimracer UL1 Turn Fin Q's

Hey folks,
I just received the Grimracer Turn Fin from Aquacraft for my UL1.
It seems to me that the leading edge should be sharper, no??

The bottom is flat, as thick as the metal itself and the leading edge is almost as flat.
Shouldn't it have a sharp leading edge?
The stock plastic piece is much sharper.

Any thoughts would be helpful... I think the pics will show what i'm talking about.
