18 '' Dumas Atlas van lines kit AVL-1

Hi all recently a friend bought the Atlas van lines kit from a estate sale .The wood inside the kit dried and of poor quality was retraced on to 1/32'' and 1/16'' birch ply. The original kit was designed to be powered by a Cox .049 nitro engine and run on a tethered line best guess the kit is about 45 years old. Has anyone set up this kit wth brushless motor +lipo battery and 2ch r/c ? Regards Andris Golts.

That kit probably has more value as an un-built "Collector's Item" than a built model.

Why not build a 1/20 scale (a hair under 18") Atlas from a laser-cut balsa and ply kit designed from the ground up for electrics?
