See you there Bob!
Lookin' GOOD! Always love your builds. Construction is solid and they track and handle well. Good luck!
Good luck Bob!
Hope you will be able to pit by us again. see ya soon!
Race starts on the 15th, and the boats made it to California today!
I added scraps of plywood to the top and bottom horizontal frame at the tips. I also added curved pieces to the sponson sheer on top of it (between each cross frame). This gives you enough meat to round things off, and attach the sheeting. The Miss Budweiser guys did this in the early 1990s after studying blow overs in a wind tunnel. Now it is common practice on real hydroplanes to have blunt sponson tips and rounded sheers around the sides.
Whoops, o.k.
Thank you for being candid with your mods, heck, I just thought it looked way better, performance changes are a nice bonus!

Bob, it was a pleasure to meet you. Consider coming to Huntsville next year. I promise not to screw up any of your heats.

Thank you!
I ran my BP P LTD at the D9 didtrict race and got a third over all dialing in the boat. Did some movements to the CG put it about 1/2 inch behind the heal of the sponson and dropped the strut a little. I just ran it at seasidein real rough water, it looked good. We will see how it runs at Tracy this week end.
