Stock stuffing tube size?

what is the dia of the stock SV27 stuffing tube

I'm in the process of rebuilding a SV27 should the stuffing tube be epoxy in where it goes through the hole of the wood frame under the e-box. the reason I ask is I don't know what it is like new, and I think it would cause a lot of vibration if the stuffing tube is loose.
