Had to post about this mini quad that just came out a couple of weeks ago. This thing is AWESOME and is almost as stable as my real Mavic! Well I am exaggerating that lol but it is very stable for a sub $50.00 quad. The Altitude hold works very, very well. It is called the Eachine E58. Check it out. For $45.99 it cant be beat!

so you have the real mavic and say this is right up there with it ? does this have a 1080p camera ?wifi to your phone?
Well no...its not right up there with my mavic but it is very cool for what it is (a $50.00 quad). But it has a 720p camera that streams wifi back to your phone in very good quality. I can start it up with no wind and it will stay where I have it hovering until the battery dies. The Altitude hold works very well. Check out this guys video of it.

i was into quads for a couple years .recently had a phantom 3 standard but i traded into it knowing i would sell it because i quit quads about 2 years back . prices are coming down .the mavic is way over priced i think .the phantom 3 took just fantastic video .probably went thru about 10 quadcopters in 2 years in that hobby .
would have been funny he dumped it in the neighbors pool...lol

i had my most fun with my full control quadcopters ,the ones i built myself and used multiwii controllers on .my most fun and fastest one was my dji f330 .thing was a rocket .i had alot of quads ,got in early when they were still pretty new so i tried alot of different ones .

Yea the aerial stuff and 4mile flights interest me. I have a 3dr solo, Mavic, Hubson 501s and a few others. I'm not much into the racers my son loves them though.
