Miss Elam 1/12 prop strut

I am trying to find a new strut assembly or some way to install bushings or bearings in the prop strut. There is alot of slop where the prop shaft runs through the strut. I have looked at possibly converting over to an aftermarket strut or using the newer pro boat hydro but dont really want to go to the trouble of removing the old strut assembly and filling in that part of the hull and redrilling in the back to mount the new strut. If anyone has any ideas on where i could find something to make this work let me know. Thanks in advance for all the help.
