I'm deffinetly in!!!
I disassembled the 1/6th Hemi this morning. First take the plug wires and plug covers off all four corners the unscrewing is simple. Some parts are melted inside the block. I had to grind them smooth on back side. I will post picture tonight.
I disassembled the hemi today in preparation of building the deck with block built in.

Count me in for 1 please.
Bottom center tool took a lot of shape yesterday, too many buck shot bags on it to take a picture.
Will the underside of the sponsons look like this?Attachment 127226
Little more work done on bottom, sponson bottom next.

Type the hydros name and search through the mass of photos.
it's a stepped shoe with staged strakes..W
Awesome BUILD...I'd love to have one of these bad boys. I've been eyeballing these 1/6 diecast motors, and wishing someone would build a T/F hull....:thumbup1:
I have spent about 20 hours looking threw pictures trying to find a good shot of the bottom of the sponson. Bullet Fiberglass built my friends Tallon 38 If I must I will call him to get a picture But i did not want to bother him. I was hoping a bright friend had what I wanted with out the stress of another 20 hours.
Thanks all... breakfast time and off to my friends shop.
Thought I would show what I spent the weekend doing.

Nice!!
Very nice Randy, other than "69" that's my fav Camaro, is it a split bumper car? Anything newer than "73" is No Bueno!!
Frank is building the 71 for his 16 year old son and wants to have the larger stock bumper for safety. Frank put a newer drive train in the car efi and all. It has a Dakota digital dash, new 8.5 stronger rear end. 4L60E trans and a Vortec 350 with a older tunnel-port EFI.
Yes the "69" Camero with the RS package is one of my favorites too.
How did the repop panel fit. My buddy Gary built a car for Von Gittin Drift Car Champ. It was a dynacor 1969 Mustang . I must say that was most jacked up body ever >>new repop<< body right out of the shipping crate . Nothing fit fenders doors hood rear deck stock tail light housing wouldn't even bolt up. Looked awesome once done but before that what a pile before .
It was AMD. I suggested the full panel but my friend oped for the short/cheaper panel. we did try to use it but the short panel or 1/2 panel was to long a pos. We bought the full AMD panel and it was excellent.
"A up date" the seams for the trunk lid turned out to be 1/2 of an inch on the drivers side and 1/8 passenger side. On the 72 T top Camero we have in same garage the trunk seams are 3/16 on both sides. we will ajust the trunk lid on the 71 to be centered but much wider.
