If you had to have a "legal" motor today prior to the pending vote is the current DYNM 3831 2000kv NAMBA legal? Not on the motor list and is the 3830 still available?
Second question any new rules that pass, when do they actually take effect?

If you're thinking time trials and records, then no it isn't. If you're talking heat racing, the CD could allow it.
I'm pretty sure all the proboat motors are discontinued as well as the aquacraft motors after Horizon purchased great planes.
Himax will build the HB3630 but you need to buy in quantity.

I know that the motor list is in limbo. So we have to dig deep in the box for old motors. Will the upcoming National Championships be set by the current list?

The 2019 NAMBA Nationals in Utah will only use the CURRENT motor list as well as two listed options on the race flyer for P-limited competition. If the new FE motor rules do pass, they will not be allowed at this years NAMBA Nationals. Hope that answers your question.Quote:
