Suggestions? I've got my Apache running great with hobbywing 120a esc and traxxas 3500kv motor on 2s but it just doesn't have the torque. Speed is great. Was thinking proboats 1500kv or1800kv on 3s would give similar speed and temps and have good torque. Right?
i ran novak 6.5 in my apache on 2s. very very fast. prolly around 60 mph with metal prop. enough torque to make the boat jump strait up out the water on take off.
speedo would get a little warm but motor was right as rain. the 3500 on 3s is pretty freakin fast too. u dont need that much torque in a boat that light.
