I'm running a Swordfish 380 on 6S.
It's the ONLY ESC that's managed to survive the repeated drownings/abuse and performance I demand.
Seaking, CC etc. - all failed miserably. One actually ignited!
Cost me over $2000 to find this out.
The Swordfish are totally waterproof, watercooled and you can add caps if you want.
Downside:
They're big.
No reverse (I don't need it anyway).
Somewhat limited programability.
Datalogging is only available on the Pro models.
To the OP:
I've had better luck with the SF line than any of the others. I ran a pair of 240s in my SAW boat with success, and a pair of 300s in my big 73" Mystic at very high power levels. Both models have been bulletproof for me. The only issue with SF is the timing is set to "Low, Mid, High, or Auto"...acutal numbers would be better.
Just ordered the sf240 from steve. But stock status was wrong and he actually didnt have them in stock. He ofered me the sf300 at the same price or a refund. Looks like i'll be getting the new 300! Thanks steve!
