wow I don't thing the you'd want to go that high KV, you'd need a very small prop then. Also I'd go more on the amps if you were gonna use any power size battery like 3s 3000map 25C or larger. My brushless Apache is a 2800kv with 60amp water cooler esc. With the stock prop I can't hit full speed in this hull with out some fins or mods to the hull and thats 2800kv on a 3s so I hope that helps you.
It might be ok if he only runs 6 cell or 2s lipo packs.
