Epoxy resin. I layed an additional layer of fiberglass in my hull. If you plan on doing speeds more than 25mph you should do the same. The gel coat will crack.
On some of the boats the wood also could use another coat of a poly resin since its quite thin. This will help keep the wood sealed.Quote:
