usb linker not working on a swordfish 300 amp esc

HI,

i,m stuck with how many batteries do you connect when using the linker with a swordfish 300 amp 4s-15s esc do you use all four power cables, when you use the usb linker i've got the software loaded and what voltage should you use.

Errors i get are:TIME OUT DEVICE OPEN FAILURE plus CAN.T FIND HARD WARE 03hc PARAMETER SETTING
