So Mike W fixed and finished painting it for me. Hopefully Pete approves.
I swear Pete, I will one day pull the trigger and buy P Ltd and Q BP from you!

I love it! The super bee! It needs a Mopar super bee sticker on the back!
See the date of this post^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^.
This is when I funked out and lost touch with the racing community. I'm doing the reading now to get back up to speed with you guys, so to say...
I'm looking forward to building a new P-Sport this winter. Thanks Pete, Terry, Don. All you guys are awesome and have been a great help getting me out of a near 3 year funk out. Larry and Steve Reesor are always a great asset as well, many thanks.
What is not race worthy is going to be sold shortly. Time to purge and update with just 3 or 4 boats. Cheers.
Jay's an o.k. guy too...

What are the largest packs you can put into the full P sport size hull? Max dimensions?
Hi Ray, I moved my motor forward about 4" from the original motor motor mount to make room for sticks 13" x 1 1/2 "x 3/4". or bricks if need be.
J.
I figured out the battery sizing on page 4. Now, the pictures in the post I quote show you keep sharp edges on the hull. I can understand sharp edges on the bottom but on the top, can the edges be rounded slightly to help keep paint stuck?
I'm guessing that is 2 part Klass Kote primer? TIA.
No wire drive, just ordered the packs that way. 0r use 4S 2p.
I know that people are having problems bending the Stainless Turn Fins too easily in a flip or spin out. Me included.
Also Pete said that people are reducing the bend in the Stainless Turn Fins.
So I order some material$$. Bought a couple of Solid Carbide End Mills$$$, Made a set of Bending Dies. 2" diamiter to get a 1" radius for the hook.$$$$
Titanium turn fins for "P" or "Q" Sport Hydro's and Riggers.
These fins will fit;
"P" limited Sport Hydro's and Riggers
"P" Sport Hydro's and Rigger
"Q" Sport Hydro's and Rigger
Turn fin includes:
(1) Turn Fin, no bracket, no screws.
$50.00 Shipped to Lower 48 East of Mississippi, West of Mississippi add $3.00
Bent radius is a little less then a Stainless Turn Fin, seeing that most people including me
are reducing the bend on the Stainless fins.
The sharpened edge is machined at 7 degrees, making the machined edge 3/8" long.
These fins will not bend as ease either. It took a 12 ton Hydraulic press to do the hook in the fin. (1" Radius Not a straight bend.)
Fins are 0.065" thick Titanium, and lighter and much stronger then the Stainless fins of the same size.
Size:
3 3/8" Tall
2 7/16" Wide
3/4" Hook on a 1" Radius bend.

Hey
:flashfire:!!!CONGRATULATIONS!!!:flashfire:
Bob over at Mojo racing took home the P-Sport National Championship at the 2022 Namba Nationals in California!!
Bob runs the stock V12 Black Pearl P-Sport w/stock cowl. Photo of the championship boat below.
Nice Work!!!
Sweet!
What motor,esc,lipos is bob running?
On another note, I did some test runs with my P sport, with 1814 and 1815 prop.
When from 59mph on H7 to 64mph 1815 on windy (10+mph gust of winds). Need to see how it does on 1814 with laps.
Out loud thinking, Pete have you or anyone else have thought about using longer mono struts? Or even flat bottom strut?
It's funny. Pete and I do the strut thing different. I run flat on every hydro. He runs round. Which is better? No clue. Pete is just as fast as I am. I "feel" like the flat gives me a ride surface but I have no real proof or data. I can't always back up my hunches with evidence.
I would say - If you run an "H" prop (lifting Prop) - Round bottom.
_ If you run a non lifting prop - Flat Bottom.

I saw Bob Zola had done this when he showed a picture of his boats he took to California. He says they have done this in the all the full size sport hydros. Not sure if it was a factor in his winning in California but it sure looks nice!!!
Bob's thread: https://forums.offshoreelectrics.com...ht=mojo+racing
Congrats Bob on your win, but even more impressive - from your signature - 2022 NAMBA Nationals FE High Points Champion! Congratulations on that achievement, no easy feat and well deserved!
