    CC uses "silicone conformal coating" by MG Chemicals.

      certainly a good product too if CC choosed it! I've used many different materials when I was in the conformal coating business but not that one.

        Thanks for all the help guys.....That shellback stuff would be the mutts nuts if it can be done at home! Well, I've decided to get some of the DP270 and the CC spray stuff that Ub Hauled said.....i'll let you all know how it works out! But i'm also going to use Silicon for all the receivers i got.....

          Use DP270 for the recievers, its the shiz and you dont use much doing a reciever.

            Cool......got quite a few to do that's why i thought using the silicone would be cheaper.....but if not much is used, then that's good enough for me! Thx

              heres a good howto

              Once youve coated it you can hit it with a hair dryer which will thin it out, and help the excess drip off.
