    Sordfish 120

    Hi Steven,

Do you have an idea when you will be getting more of the Swordfish 120's in stock? I would like to try a couple. Also which programmer do you recommend: the USB or the card?

    Thanks,
    Mike

My personal choice is the box.
I will have a couple next week and a large batch in about 3 weeks.

        Hey Steven,

Are those 120's still on schedule to be here this week? When you say "box" do you mean the seaking/hobbywing box or is there a specific Sordfish programming box? The Sordfish listing mentions a USB or a Card. Nothing of a box.

        thanks
        Mike

No its my confusion. In the text i can it an lcd programmer. I should have said the same thing here. The best thing about the usb is that its the only method that you can update the esc's firmware with(if needed). but its also a bit of a pain to install on some pc's.

Steven, Perhaps I missed it elsewhere, but what are the degrees of timing advance for low/standard/high for the 200A LV?

I guess it would be in the manual if I knew where to find it.

                      Thanks!

                        This may help http://www.astecmodels.co.uk/pdfs/Sw...200A%20ESC.pdf
                        Option 1: Low advance timing
                        0°~15°
Recommended for more lower pole count motors. Gives more power and
                        slightly less efficient.

                        Option 2: middle advance timing
                        5 °~ 20 °
Recommended for most motors .Gives a good balance of power and efficiency.

                        Option 3: High advance timing
                        15° ~ 30 °
Recommended for most of higher pole count motors

                        Option4:Auto(default)
Recommended for most of all brushless motors.

Can anyone tell me what threads are on the water fittings for the Swordfish 120's? I would like to replace the straight fitting with a 90 degree on one end. Any thoughts?
