New 40mm Water cooled motor mount

    Steven,

I was wondering if you have any plans to carry the 40mm version of the water cooled motor mount?
This mount should work nicely with Neu 15xx series, the Castle-Neu 15xx series, as well as the new Leopard 40mm motors that have recently hit the scene, as long as the motors are over 55mm long.

(Correction, these mounts will not work with finned Neu or the finned Castle-Neu motors)

PM me if you need the link.

As always, I would dreather send you my money.
    Thanks,
    Brad

Nope. Doesnt work with the Castle/Neu or the finned series Neu motors. The clamping section will not open enough to get around the finned section. Already tried it. Dont waste your money unless you want to start cutting away some material from the motor or the clamp. It will work with the Xerun series motors.

Should work for the longer Leopard 40mm series.

      Explanation in photos:

There isn't enough material in the top hole to line it up by drilling it either.

              John,
Thanks for the correction, don't want to spread any bad info. I wasn't thinking about the fins not clearing the mount. I will correct my original post later.
Does this mean the mount should work on the smooth can Neu 15xx series motors longer than 55mm as well? I was planning on using this mount with a Leopard 4074 2200kv anyway, so I should be fine.
              Thanks,

                FighterCat57,
If Brushless55 doesn't want the mount I may be interested in it.
                Let me know.
                Thanks,

                      Steven,
I should've known you already had these in the works.
                      Thanks for the ETA.

Nice! It's a good little mount.

FYI- might be good to have extra stringers available separately, this mount can be used on the really long motors, like the 1527. The second set of stringers can be turned 120 degrees to hold the tail of the longer motors.

                        I was going to build a new stringer, but this is so solid that it bends the hull if I try to move it;
