I've got an extra unknown brand rudder assy with water pickup - for a hydro. Its got teh servo arm and a dubro fastener. I'll post a pic here in a few minutes.

            Here it is.

It is a Proboat rudder and mount with water pick up. $20 new from horizon hobby - $10 or something good for a trade.

3" long from top metal to bottom, 5/8" stand off, it appears stainless steel.

i was thinking more the built in to the rudder kind , but thats neet. let me think about it (looking for funds) and ill geet back to you jesse ! that is about the same size as the graupner plastic setup i have , i think it would work and be noninvasive.
              thanks

I also have one that has water pick up in it, for $20. If you want I can post pics.

I too have been looking for the J style as well.

I did come across these, which may actually be better:

I found someplace online that has these, but I can't remember where now.

this is a pretty cool rudder from my Mean Machine - that I sold. It has a servo horn that you can reverse, water pick up and a break away feature that might just save a transom at high speeds. I got it new and I used it once or twice before I removed it. You can have it for $20.

                        "J" tube

I'm sure Randy has them. One came with my hydro kit. "J" tube, tubing, and outlet.
Looks to be about 5 bucks. It is from Hyperformance Marine. Went to thier website and could not locate it, but it is in thier packaging.
                        Glad you found an ESC.
