    Custom Built Mean Machine NEW

    Hi Guys,

This Mean Machine was custom built for a customer who disappeared on me. It has a House Of Colors Candy Tangerine paint job that looks wicked in the sun. Has all Speedmaster hardware, set up for a .150 or .187 cable, no cable comes with it. If using a .150 you need to get a piece of Teflon tubing for it. It has custom battery trays set up in the sponsons, a set of 4 inch rails installed with a custom motor mount for a 36mm XL motor. The motor and servo pictured are not included with the sale. Also has a Lexan sub-hatch for easy tape down.

With 4S, a 10XL and a X447 prop 50mph is no problem for this boat. 4S2P 10K mah will give you over 8 minutes full throttle. This is a REALLY nice boat so don't bother making offers, I won't accept anything lower than the asking price.

300.00 shipped to your door in the lower 48. That is a smokin' price for this boat. The first person saying they want it and makes the payment gets it. Sorry, no "can you hold it" deals. I'm listing the stuff at prices to make it go away.

    Thanks,

    Paul.

What would you like pictures of in the inside? The stuffing tube is 1/4". If you run a .187 cable you don't use a Teflon liner, if you use a .150 cable you need a Teflon liner that fit inside the stuffing tube.

      Paul.

Every boat I own has straight brass tubing. Brass is a natural bearing surface and is the fastest way around an oval. Teflon has drag, it compresses under the load of the flex shaft. In all the years I've been running straight brass (over 20 years now) I have NEVER replaced a brass stuffing tube because it wore out.

Paul is right, running straight brass tubing is the way to go - fast. Top FE, nitro and gas racers have been eschewing teflon for decades. As long as you use a good lube the brass never wears out - at least I've never worn one out. You do have to use the next size smaller brass tube than you'd use for Teflon with the same cable size, or you should anyway.

Not a good idea, brass only.

                            Hi Guys,

I get zero water in my boats. The trick to getting no water is how you set up your stuffing tube. All my brass stuffing tubes go directly into the struts, I leave NO gaps in the system. The only way for water to come up the stuffing tube is bad bushings and or poor grease/lube jobs.

                            Paul.
