This is a great opportunity for any bassist that is looking for that fretless sound. I purchased this bass new back in '98 as best I can recall. I originally paid around $650 for it, although it would have been more since I traded another bass in to offset the cost. Since then, it has seen very little use and has always traveled in a hardshell case. I've looked online and have only seen a few of these ever advertised for sale over the years. I've used this bass for as many genres as I can think of including: jazz, rock, funk, fusion, as well as Avant-garde obscure music.

Reason for selling: I recently purchased an electric upright and decided that I did not need this bass. So, regretably I'm letting this bass go. Plus, in this economy, I could really use the money for RC stuff!

Features include:
- Jazz style pickups, single coil, that deliver tones from Jaco Pastorious growl to mellow deep for ballads or heavy walking basslines.
- Volume, Blend, and Tone controls. Electronics are wisper quiet.
- Fretless fingerboard that shows very slight wear (hardly any). The fingerboard appears to be graphite, but I can't be sure.
- Heavy-duty tuners that make tuning easy and precise.
- Guide dots on side of neck as well as on the fingerboard itself. I like this feature much better than the lines featured on other fretless basses (easy for a beginner, but not as obtrusive as lines that may not line up exactly to the notes, regardless of intonation).
- NOTE: Hardshell case shown in photos is NOT included in this sale.
Condition:
- Everything works and has no issues.
- Neck is straight and bass is setup correctly. All you have to do is plug in and go!
- Almost new condition, NEARLY MINT! no nicks that I can see, only minor surface scratches on the back from buttons on a shirt (and I do mean SURFACE scratchs only, nothing deep or anything that couldn't be buffed out very easily). Unless you catch the light to see the clearcoat, you wouldn't see the minor scratches on the back at all. => If you want pictures of the back showing the condition, just PM me with your email address and I'll be happy to send you some additional photos.
