    WTB Executive MK II

    Hello all,

I'm looking for a Lindenau Executive MK II. I am also interested to hear feedback from anyone who owns one, has seen one run, etc.

    Thanks!

You'll find it here (maybe you know already):

Stephan has a pretty long list and sometimes it takes
some time to get your hands on your boat, but he's
pretty good in responding emails and he speaks English.

hehehehe, I wish, I haven't gotten around to order anything from him, he seems to be a nice guy willing to help. He's boats are doing pretty good in the European circuit and I have to say that surprises me that there aren't any of those here in the US. My top shelf queen is a Lobster...

            SWEET!

...I find it hard to believe that no one even owns one in the US.

Anyone have one??? I'm looking for thoughts and impressions.

It's current UK hydro1 champion, it came to our local lake which is very sticky and GPSed at 53mph during a 5 minute race with a 2s 5000 pack, I haven't driven it myself but it looked to handle well, and has a very low CoG.

Fits in next to the motor if i remember rightly, its a tiny datalogging GPS called an I-gotU it has no screen and is very small at 44.5x28.5x13mm and 20g you plug it into your laptop and it will give you maximum and average speed and overlays your trail onto google earth, quite cool as I could see the oval he normally runs and a few very wide tracks where he must have been overtaking, he did 23 laps of the naviga circuit which has 60m straights and 15m diameter corners (1/10th mile ish) in 5mins 9s or a total of 2.39 miles assuming incorrectly that he drove through the middle of every buoy.

link to mfg site Like the executive I don't have one myself but have seen a couple in action and like what I have seen, the 2 I know of were got from Maplins, they had a deal on a while ago for £30, I missed out on it by the time I heard about it and they are £49 from there now, I would guess that the deal was for the model 100 unit and from the dimensions they now sell the 120 unit which has much bigger memory and longer battery life, but to be honest I don't think either make much difference to us boaters that would only be using them for a few minutes at a time. Talking about it is making me think I have to get one, I have been deliberating on it since i saw one and if I had caught the deal I would have one already.

Very cool. Any idea if it will work in a composite hull such as Carbon Fiber or Aramid?

Do you know of anyone in the US that is running the Executive II?
