Slightly off topic, but still boat related
Got this battery charger recently for charging my 200Ah UPS battery bank and to use other output to charge 100Ah trolling motor battery i use at our RC lake. Turns out it's not switching type but old analog transformer design. Also it is made for flooded lead acid batteries with 14.9 V charge cutoff. I have AGM sealed batteries with recommended cut off at 14.4 V. There is no way to set it lower. This charger is designed to be mounted inside the boat and is waterproof. Has 2 battery outputs, one to charge starting battery and another for trolling battery. It supposed to completely shut off once the batteries are full to save electricity, so leaving it plugged in at all times will keep the batteries from dying over the winter. I have not tested that, since i don't have flooded batteries.
