    (3) Neu 1412 Motors – Spec Class Legal

I’ve got some special order 1412 motors up for grabs.
These motors fit the MMEU/IMPBA Spec Class dimension rules (37mm x 62mm).
These are brand new… never had connectors on them.

These are special order motors since Neu typically puts the 1412 motors in a standard 1415 can which is 68.6mm long per spec drawings. But per their spec drawings the 1412 should be in a 61.0mm can. I had to place a special order to have them machine the cans to proper dimensions which would allow these motors to fit within the Spec Class dimension rules. They ended up putting some of the motors I ordered in cans even smaller than their spec drawing.

Neu did not want to do this unless there was a large enough order to make it worth setting up the machinery. There were two different orders placed and each time it took about 6 months to get them. In other words… these are NOT easy motors to get and Neu has these priced at $229 each.

    I have a total of five (5) motors available in three (3) different winds: 2050kv, 1850kv, 1650kv.
Price is $200 each or $195 each for two or more.
    Price includes shipping within CONUS.

PayPal Only. No Private Messages, Questions Here.
Will ship USPS priority and you could have these in your hands in days, not months.

These fit the MMEU Spec Class rules which are being utilized for this years' IMPBA FE Nationals.
I believe these spec motor rules are going to be... or have already been proposed as IMPBA rules.
And last I heard... NAMBA is considering a similar motor size rule for limited class.

      Have a good one,

According to the current NAMBA rules (rule book revised 12/20/2017) the Neu motors are not legal. But a race director can name other motors in the race flyer. Of course, things could change.

        (b) Any generational change of an approved motor, or a motor that is used in a Ready To Run (RTR) offering from a manufacturer that produces over 100 units of said offering, as long as there is no more than a 5% increase in any of the following manufacturers specifications as compared to any single approved motor: Kv, maximum constant amperage rating, mass, and MSRP.

That's correct. No one said they were currently legal for NAMBA.

There are actually no rules that cover P limited / Spec class in IMPBA it is left up to the clubs.

                      Hey Dave,
Slight change of mind on those motors.....
I would like the two (2) 1412-3D motors.
Just thinking about my current prop considerations.
Let everyone know that the others are still available.
                      Thx again,
                      Ken

Change has been made. Same amount ($390) to PayPal I provided.

Remaining motors are no longer available. I've decided to keep for now.
