Eyekandy I would really like to get a hold of a 1512 or even a 1515 for the builds. I've got a line on a 1512 on Rum runners but a 1515 would be perfect if I can find one in good shape used. Does your buddy have anything bigger than a 1509?

I have one open box 1512 1d and I have another 1512 1d thats being returned because the customer couldn't use it and upgraded. Both have 0 use on them. $380 for the two with shipping and 2 water jackets. If you do decide on this, we just have to wait until I get the other one back.

Eyekandy, I think there has been a typo on your post, the 1509/1D has 6800kv.

I bought the motor used from a guy up in Madison. I only ran it a couple of times and I went back to a Lehner motor because I could not fit the water jacket on it in the rigger I was using. The few times I ran it the runs where very short because I was just setting up the boat. I would not be able to tell you how many amps I was running because there was no room for the Eagle Tree.
