Sold sold sold sold on another forum.
Here is a boat I bought off a well known member here... hes built a few of these, and I coaxed him into selling me this boat with all his custom hardware... he wanted to just sell the hull :) Has the builders own custom whip motor mount, and turn fin... and speedmaster gear on the rear. The builder also did a very fine job installing the G10 ride pad mod as seen.... one nice running whip! These are not a fun or quick build... get one all done right
I put a new castle 1515 2200kv motor in it (whats recommended by him for this boat, and what was used prior to me getting). I also installed a Spektrum Servo, and a Brand new Turnigy 180v3 with the cap bank... Also installed bullet connectors on everything 6.5mm.
I gave the boat a quick sand job, and real quick couple coats of paint and a coat of clear.... its def not perfect paint... but just fine, and looks fine for a raceboat. Some decals and maybe windshield decal and would look great. still looks good, but again not perfect.
I wouldn't recommend this as a first boat, or only boat... if you want a real racing hydro, or just want a bad boy hydro in your fleet then this is it... jab the throttle, let off then goose it to get on plane and from there you're off to the races... this is a very fast hydro, and handles with the best of them, and a boat that runs the way i like them full throttle and never let your hand off the trigger... these run 62-67mph with this setup... pretty common power combo for this race class.. prop is not included but a x440/3 is what i used and works excellent on boat..

37x20x6 ) box is the smallest box size I'd feel good about shipping that far, doesn't give all that much room all around either so would be packed with peanuts/pool noodle over sponson tips and corners, bubble wrapped... yeh a 10lb box of that size to Australia makes it painful.
