Top Speed 2 with os leg and leo 4074 2200 kv

Here is my Top Speed 2. I bought it when it first came out and used the O.S. Engines .21 outboard. When that finally wore out and blew the piston I decided to make it into an FE. I pulled this motor out of my Mean Machine and bought the motor adapter from here at ose. I cut the top deck but never had the time to finish it. The motor runs fine despite the distorted wire in one of the pics. My caps on the MM blew and melted a bit of the wire. The stock color was orange. It doesn't have the pads under as you can see.

what about the structure of the hull is it in good shape? Has it been sealed and all the joints strong?

Jim, I didn't do anything to the hull except paint it. Whatever the factory did is what has been done to it. Back when I had the outboard running it only got an about a shot glass worth of water in it. I just drained it using the drain plug. It seems study where the motor mount is and where the wood is, you can always add more support where you want. The Does that answer your question?

wow, you dropped that message while I was posting mine. I snooze I loose I guess. :)

I've been looking for an O.S. lower unit for a while now ... so I'd go $110 shipped for everything. I am getting sick of waiting for Tower hobbies to fill my order. I went with Tower only because I had a $50 gift card with them, else I would have just grabbed it from OSE.

Anyway, $110 shipped is my offer.

I agree Thomas, this is not an auction.

Rule: 5. The first reply post that shows intent to buy pending more information in the thread (NOT via PM) is first in line to buy the item.

From what I understand, you offered $80 which was lower than asking...he didn't commit. I offered full asking price but I was just a few minutes late in hitting the POST button, so I jumped it to $110. :)

I believe my offer was in line with the rules. What I dislike about this situation is that my offer is now being extended to Thomas, even though I made the offer of $110 first. Something about that doesn't sit right with me so I'm going to respectfully back away from this situation. I wish Rich good luck on the sale and hopefully I can be quicker on the trigger next time. :)

                              Have a great weekend everyone!
