    FighterCat Shocker for sale

I really had to think twice about this one but I have too many irons in the fire and need to fund a couple projects already in the works. I'm putting up for sale my 37" FighterCat Shocker. This boat has been over 100mph when I had it set up for SAWs which actually resulted in improvements being done to the hull. During the course of getting it dialed in for SAWs I found the factory joining of top and bottom left much to be desired. The hull now has carbon fiber reinforcing inside along the seam lines combined with a special high end 2 part foam filler in the front of the hull and sponson tips which greatly increased it's strength and toughness. The bottom ride surfaces have been fully prepped and trued up. The custom full wrap was applied by "Mono Jeff" Ross and when I sent it to him I only gave base colors, he was given full "artistic liberty" and sent back the really trick wrap you see here. It is tough as nails and has no issues with the taping down of the cowl. The rear hardware is Speedmaster, the carbon fiber motor mount from FC. The motor is a NEU 1521 1Y, the steering servo is a Futaba 3050 digital hi torque. All one needs to add are a prop, RX, ESC and packs to be water ready. This boat can be run 4S to 6S but if you've got the stones drop 10S in and head for SAWs. This boat on 10S with a 50mm prop will go over 100 and has done so in that configuration multiple times. I would prefer to sell boat as a package, $650 plus packing/shipping owns it.

Price drop to $600 plus postage. Need to find a good home for this, the boat is a blast to run but I need the shelf space and extra coin for two projects currently on the build tables.

Thanks Ray. Yeah she's tough as nails now and whoever gets it will have a solid cat to play with, race or even try their hand at SAWs.

            Hey Larry,
I'm in Mechanicsville, Va. 23111. Interstate 95 passes right through this area.

Ditto. Been wanting another Shocker for a bit now. How does it corner as a single Don?

It seems to turn just fine with packs laid down in the sponsons. I haven't heat raced it, just did SAWs and maybe a few laps at practice pond.

I have the same question about how it handles in the turns. I am shopping for a cat for NAMBA. This model is on my list of interest. I have been looking at the same boat in the twin drive, 34" Cheetah and a Keith carbon Fiber boat. Decisions. Pulling my hair out.

Guys I can't say how this particular hull does racing ovals since I haven't tried but for as popular a boat as it is I'd think we'd have heard about it somewhere on here perhaps?

I know that doesn't help much but that's all I got.................

Well when I ran it for SAWs I was using a old school Schulze 40.160WK. I would think any of the current popular ESCs that work well would get it done. I raced a friends P mono last weekend with a Swordfish ESC that worked flawlessly.

Let me check on both and get right back to you. Interstate 95 runs all the way to Florida which is why I mentioned it, thought that was how you were getting there.

Looks like $35 to NY and $42 to FL via FedEx Ground.
