Pro Boat MIss Geico Hull,Hatch, and Canopy

This is an unusual Miss Geico Hull, Hatch, and Canopy. The paint color is "off" a bit from the production boats, and the Graphics are bleeding. Hull was used as a test sample for the final paint, and is obviously a bit off. Hull is solid and undamaged, however, and will make a nice clean start to a project.

Comes as bare hull, hatch, and canopy only. No hardware included. All drilled up and ready to accept factory Pro Boat hardware, however. The newest PB BJ29 hardware would be recommended.

    $155.00 shipped in the USA.

    PayPal would be preferred.

Has this hull been blueprinted or is it just a stock hull?

If you search my "Miss Geico Race Prep" thread, you'll see an example... Essentially, it means to block sand and true up the sponson ride surfaces, sharpen all the edges, etc...

I'm assuming you mean a 1415 1Y (2200KV)... on 4S, absolutely... That's perfect power for this hull.... You can even fit 4S2P (a 4S pack on either side), and run them in parallel for more runtime. This motor would be my first choice. It has a long history of simply being awesome power for this size boat.

You will want to run at least a 120A ESC. I prefer the Castles, but there are lots of options out there. More Amp-rating is better, of course.

I will install a factory motor mount for you. I have an extra here, and it's what I'd recommend.

I would order the factory rudder/strut assembly from Horizon Hobby. That is a bolt on and is the simplest way to go. Also works fine as a bolt on. If you want to do more tweaking/modding, you can use the factory strut brackets, and modify accordingly to install a SpeedMaster or other aftermarket strut. Would be more durable. I generally just use the stock ones until the bushing wears out, then I ream them out to fit a Speedmaster sleave bushing...

I'd order a .150" with 3/16" flex cable assembly and an Octura 5mm to .150" coupler from here on OSE.

For a steering servo, assuming you don't already have one in mind, I like the Spektrum Digitals... the S6020 is a good starting point, though I prefer the additional grunt of the S6030 (I don't have to pay as much as you would for them, however... the S6020 is plenty of servo)..

The S6020 Standard Digital High Torque Metal Gear Surface Servo from Spektrum, the leader in spread spectrum radio control.
