    Hatch Seals **No more tape!!!**

Hey guys, I've went through some materials in search of a good hatch seal and this is what I came up with. This stuff is 1/8" thick, and it compresses and recovers pretty well. Putting it under your hatch will likely cause it to raise about 1/16" You can take some material off the hatch if it doesn't lay flat, or you can leave it and run it (I'm choosing the latter). It has an adhesive backing, so it's as easy as pulling of the backing and sticking it to the lip where your hatch sits. Use these with the hatch bolt down kits I have in the swap shop and eliminate the need for hatch tape!

These are 1/2" wide, but only 1/4" is needed (as shown in pics) so I cut it right down the middle. Order HALF the length you need, and cut it lengthwise to cover the entire area...Or just order the entire length and have enough for two boats.

    $2 per 10" + $3 shipping ($5 priority) Cont US.

Wasn't tape more to stop the lid from flying off during a crash than to seal it??

No, even with hatch locks people run tape.

These are designed to be used together to solve both problems:
