Hello Guys,
for sale is a LMT 2280/7 HiAmp with the extralong water jacket for the 2280's series. The motor has 7 turns and has 1057kv at point of maximum efficiency (1057kv under load!). Perfect motor for use with 8-10S lipo, I've also heard of succesful use with 12S but wouldn't recommend it. Two of these on 10S each are a beautiful setup for boats like the HPR 135 or the MHZ Mystic 138.
The motor is in good conditions, all threads are okay. Whats not perfect is, that the motor shaft is flattened from both side (see pictures). But its done very carefully and I tried with several couplers, no problems with that. With a new coupler by MBP it would be even better. Bearings make some little noise but still run very smooth.
I know that the brass nipples from the water jacket are still missing, I will glue these in with Loctite 648 and then temper it in an oven before I will ship the motor.
