    Neu 1515-2.5D/F

For sale- has 5mm shaft. This is the heli version w/built in fan, but don't see why it couldn't be used in a boat- motor is in excellent condition.

    $150 via paypal shipped!

it dont really matter if people get inventive i got a 1521 1.5d f brand new in the box and wanted to put a water jacket on it so i taped off all the edges of the can so i did not gouge or scratch ,sevral layers and taped the shaft to that tight untill i get the shaft locked stationary with the can, then put it in my 18v dewalt chucked it up. then i took a file and turned it down to match the measurements of the 1518 green can water jacket ,the custom water jacket ose sells when i got colse final finish with with 600 grit the final 5 thousand,s , and it worked perfect it looks like it was made that way looks just like the green can but black . other option is to take it to a machine shop taken apart. but i did this at home in about an hour , hey when you get a good deal like this you make do i got the 1521 1.5d/f brand new for 150$ shipped to my front door , just an option for anyone who may turn there nose up at this motor because of the finned can dont pass on it fix it where there is a will there is a way , i have pics if anyone would like to see the motor and the can , and i am not trying to sell my motor its not for sale just trying to help.

the gear comes off with a set screw i doutp that it is pressed on if it is gear puller but i have sevral helicopters and i have never seen a press on on a motor just like you put your coupler on the gear comes off with a set screw the same way i dont know why he took a picture with the gear on he may have not had a allen wrench handy but anyway it comes right off

          OK

just from the picture it looked like the teeth were cut right into the shaft

no they dont make them like that youwould never be able to change the pinion gear on your helicopter if it was made in to the shaft and that would suck , it definitally comes off with a set screw

Yup- remove set screw, pull pinion off. I left it on for the pic because I also have it for sale on a few heli forums as well.
