I think a couple of 1717's would push ths nicely (they seem to push my 50" Thunderbolt really well) too. "if" they would fit inside it. I recall seeing that Sandy thinks Neu's might be a little too large with cooling jackets installed and the 1717's have a bit more diameter than 1527's.

Yeah your boat is amazing Bill! Very impressive. I will probably make a hull from marine ply or buy a less expensive fiberglass hull. 15 hun is a little steep for my budget. But I would love to have it!

yes your thunderbolt is a nice setup indeed....

as far as size goes I was thinking sandy may have been talking about the NEU 2215 variety he has been known to use... :) they are larger diameter then the 1717....

on another not I am sure a couple 1520 would work well too... 6s for sure... Ive got two 1520's and two 1717's too....

I was actually aimig at jmscard but you finished writing faster than I did.
Aeromarine's Popeye cat hull is a 44" and fairly reasonable in price. The real dollars add up when you start hanging the hardware.
I piad more for the MHZ rudder on mine than for both of the stingers I used

Man, I was typing way too fast in that other post. Yeah, it is a good looking rudder for a fact but way overpriced for what it is.
